Art & Health
Born in Portugal and now based in Graz, I am convinced that art can contribute to health and wellbeing.
As a classically trained soprano specialising in Early Music, I am particularly passionate about the promotion of health through music, especially through the human voice.
Whether in traditional concert settings or in artistic projects that I develop myself, the embodiment and communication of emotion lie at the centre of my artistic work.

As a classically trained soprano specialising in Early Music, I am passionate about promoting health through music.
Whether on stage, in clinical settings or in public spaces, I create concerts and musical moments in which connection, joy and wellbeing can be experienced through music.
My background in Public Health shapes the way I think about and create artistic spaces.
As a Public Health professional, I believe that health promotion is essential for a sustainable and humane healthcare system.

PROJECT
PAUSE
Artistic pause format in healthcare
PAUSE invites people to pause and breathe through live singing accompanied by a historical instrument.
Once a week, around lunchtime, a space opens within the clinical environment where staff members, patients and relatives can come and go freely at any time. Each person shapes their own pause.
The selected Early Baroque songs intentionally address fundamental emotions. Each piece lasts no longer than three minutes.
Even a single song can be a PAUSE.
